Shower

I have been meaning to post this for a while but I have been pretty busy. My sister recently got married and over the summer we gave her a shower at this great old B&B near the ocean in Bayhead NJ.  I made the invite and my creative mother made these wonderful center pieces with moss jars and flowers picked from her incredible garden. She made these great tags that each had a different love inspiring poem written on it. Also Instead of having traditional shower games we decided to raffle off baskets filled with different cooking items. I created a raffle ticket that each guest received when they walked in. The raffle was a success, especially that most guests won a basket of cooking goodies!!

Studios Spaces

I have recently been on a few Studio tours around Brooklyn. I was able to get a great view into a lot of great Artist work spaces. After going on both the Buschwick and Greenpoint open studios I was inspired to re-design my own art space. I have been slowly collecting new great industrial pieces including a vintage Bakers Rack that I am going to turn into my bookshelf and art holder. As I am slowly collecting my new pieces I thought it would be a great idea to make an inspirational board of spaces that inspire me. I came across this great website called Pintrest. And on the first page alone I grabbed a few great photos of spaces that are amazing! Please enjoy below!!

Please stayed tuned. I will be uploading photos of my art space once I finish collecting new pieces. I am so excited to work on this new project! I look forward to sharing all my ideas.

Woodland Whispers

This has definitely been a snowy winter here in Brooklyn. I created these inspiration pages in a nice soft palette that reflects the colors and mood I have been feeling this January. These colors are a great for decorating or starting a new piece of artwork.

Most of these inspiration pieces above come from Etsy. I especially love the poetic look of the Snow covered trees from  Lucy Snowe photography shop. And who could be without a great owl mug to fill all your hot coco through the winter. This artistic peice of pottery comes from Ayumi Horie's Pottery shop. I love the way she mixes  the sketchy lines with a dab of color. Also make sure to check out this great little owl from Lilly Bon Bon. and one of my lady prints on Etsy.

I absoulety love these dream catcher pillows from my friends new Bf4e etsy shop. They also have great jewelery and with every HOPE ring that is sold they donate 10$ to the Lungevity foundation!! I also love these wintery deer pillow pics I found on flickr!!
